Art Institute. His creative inspiration comes from a love of illustration, music, Bizarro comics and artists Duane Michaels, Robert and Shauna Parke-Harrison, Jackson Pollack and Mark Rothko.<br /><br />Mark attends seminary at The Chaplaincy Institute for Arts and Interfaith Ministries and will be ordained in March of 2013. In June he begins as a spiritual care intern at Kaiser Hospital and a 1-yr. residency in Sept. Jeffrey had several medical challenges, which led to numerous surgeries. Every part of Jeffrey’s body‒from the top of his head, to the bottom of his feet‒was operated on.<br /><br />Tarassa is a member of the Family Advisory Counsel at Children’s Hospital Oakland, and is currently working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development with the goal of becoming a family advocate. She recently traveled to Mongolia as a parent advocate with a neurodevelopment team. In addition, Tarassa volunteers by using her experience in caring for Jeffrey as a teaching tool to help educate medical professions, families, and the community at-large about supporting families with children who are medically fragile and who have special needs.
